Effects of Rehmanniae Radix on the Rat Liver Damaged with CCl₄

Abstract
|
|
|
The effects of the decoctions, which was prepared from Rehmanniae Radix or Rehmanniae Radix prep.. on the rat damaged with CC14 was examined. The results were followed
1. The decoctions had the effects which significantly decreased the levels of ALT, AST, LDH and billirubin in the blood of damaged rat.
2 . The decoctions had the effects which increased the levels of glucose and ALP in the blood of damaged rat.
3. The decoctions had no effect on the activities of ALT, AST, LDH, ALP.
4. The decoctions had a accelerative effects on the recovary of damaged liver.
These results suggest that Rehmanniae Radix had some effects on the recovary of damaged tissues
